This project was a collaborative effort between the Centre for International Governance Innovation, the Organization of American States and the Canadian International Council. Together the organizations implemented an e-Conference series that will allow experts from Canada and around the hemisphere to engage with specialists from around the hemisphere in four thematic discussions.

May 4-8, 2009

In May 2009, the Global and Human Security Program at the Centre for International Governance Innovation parternerd with Governance Village to host an e-Conference that brought together over 300 Security Sector Reform (SSR) experts from 50 countries to engage in an online dialogue on the future direction of the SSR concept.

Nov 3-21, 2008

In partnership with the Ottawa-based Parliamentary Centre, in November 2008 Governance Village hosted a three-week e-Dialogue event that confronted the challenges Canada faces in promoting democratic development around the world.
